Demi Lovato Gets Personal With 'Rowdy' New Jersey Crowd

'X Factor' judge talks breakups and goes 'old school' on the latest stop of her summer tour.

HOLMDEL, NEW JERSEY — Not even rain showers could scare away the Lovatics who crowded the PNC Bank Arts Center to catch the latest stop on Demi Lovato's summer tour Friday night. The star, who's fitting in the trek between her judging duties on the "X Factor," brought out some of New Jersey's most devoted Demi fans.

The star swaggered out to a killer guitar riff before busting out the night's first song, "All Night Long." She shimmied all night in red shorts, a black-and-white blazer and a sheer top, never once stumbling in her sky-high platforms.

She displayed her rock-star bravado when she teased and flirted with her band during tracks that were hardly audible over all the screams.

"Thank you so much for coming," she told the crowd, "You guys are amazing. Let me just tell you guys, I love being in Jersey. It is one of my favorite places. You guys are the rowdiest fans." Several tracks in, Demi displayed her musicianship by strapping on an acoustic guitar for "Catch Me," only to switch over to a yellow electric one mid-song, proving that a '70s rock goddess lurks inside the 19-year-old. Soon though, it was time to slow it down and she showed off her R&B princess side for the Unbroken ballad, "My Love Is a Star," her vocal pyrotechnics mirrored by the lightning and thunder taking place just feet away from where the singer was performing.

"This next song is a pretty personal song for me," she told the room. "How many of you guys have been through a breakup? As you all know I've been through a few. I've been there and I made it through. I love you and I'm always there for you."

She then launched into an emotional version of her track, "Fix a Heart." The intense moment, in which Lovato looked as though she was struggling to hold back her emotions, was met with cheers. She followed it with her now famous cover of Lil Wayne's "How To Love."But, things didn't stay slow for long. "Who's That Boy" picked up the pace followed by "You're My Only Shorty," "Here We Go Again," and "La La Land."

And then came the perfect time for her big (albeit fleeting) plug of the night when she reminded room, "Recently I've been working on a show 'X Factor' [and I get to sit] next to Britney Spears ... I'm gonna slow it down a little bit. Basically I just want to see you guys," she added, requesting that the room hold up a cell phone or glow-stick or lighter if "you're old school." The firefly effect only made the impact of her slow jam, "Lightweight," more grand.

Next she sat at the piano and said, "Before my concerts I get to do a meet-and-greet with some of my fans, and some are brave enough to share some of their stories," however as she got personal a guitar fell and she joked, "Well there goes that moment. ... You don't realize I got through my issues and my problems [because of you guys]." That was the perfect set-up for her defining power ballad, "Skyscraper."

Then, in an interesting twist, she went into the cover of Chris Brown's "Turn Up the Music." And to wrap up the first act of the show she did her own tracks "Together" and her rock-tinged "Remember December."

She came back out for her encore to deafening screams where she kept the energy turned up to a big 10 thanks to her disco anthem "Unbroken" and her current single, "Give Your Heart a Break."

Lovato will be on the road through September 1, with her special guests Hot Chelle Rae. The tour wraps up just in time for the premiere of "X Factor" September 12.

Celebrity Gossip-Britney Spears Rocks Paris

Taking her pop music machine to the City of Lights, Britney Spears performed in Paris, France last night (October 6).

The “Toxic” songstress was in top form as she took
the stage at the Bercy Arena with a bevy of beautiful backup dancers and a hit-laden set list.
Brit’s opening act Destinee and Paris recently gushed about their time on the road with Spears for the Femme Fatale Tour.
"I can't even explain how amazing it is to be onstage every night and sharing it with a legend like Britney. I mean, she's been in this business forever and has really made a name for herself. To be performing before her is crazy. If somebody said to me 10 years ago that this is what we'd be doing — opening for Britney Spears — I'd be like, 'OK, you're crazy.'"

London Is Not Very Happy With Britney Spears...

According to London, pop-singer Britney Spears owes them an apology.

What for? Well, it seems that the pop-diva wielded a (prop) gun during the filming of her robbery-themed video for "Criminal", which was filmed in Stoke Newington and in the wake of the massive riots that occurred in the city earlier this year, representatives from the London borough constituency's local government want an apology. 

Yes, they're for real. And, if that wasn't funny enough they're also trying to get some dough out of her...

"I think she should apologize and make a sizeable donation to a Hackney charity that deals with young people..." Councillor Ian Rathbone, of the Hackney Council said (via Digital Spy) "for the rudeness and damage she's done to this community."

The Council itself told London Tonight, "In this case we did not agree that a replica gun could be used at Stoke Newington Town Hall and we are disappointed. We will be raising this matter with the production company."

All I have to say is these people have to okay her to do the shoot and if they were smart they would have at least picked up a copy of the lyrics. Maybe then they would have realized that maybe, just maybe, a gun was going to be a pretty intricate part of the shoot as the first line of the damn lyrics reads "He is a sucker with a gun, gun, gun."

In the video Britney and her real life fiance Jason Trawich (it's so cheesy that she used him) rob a store at gunpoint. Spears is seen holding a pistol with Trawick runs besides her, removing a ski mask and carrying a duffel bag as they flee.

I think they're just trying to squeeze some moola out of her and her people shouldn't give in...not even for an apology.

It turns out Trawick is Brit’s on-screen accomplice, and they’ve been having a blast shooting scenes at Skoke Newington Town Hall.

Prior to her arrival in the UK, Spears tweeted, “So excited to stop over in the UK before I start my European tour in a few weeks. Can't wait! I LOVE London, it's like my second home… Decided to shoot the Criminal video in the streets of merry old England when I get there

Britney Spears Gives Pauly D A Lap Dance!

These Jersey Shore fellas never seem to have a hard time picking up the ladies do they? 

Pauly D got some serious one-on-one time with Britney Spears on Thursday night...but not alone. Actually it was more like on stage, in front of thousands.

31-year-old Paul 'Pauly D' DelViecchio was treated to a seductive dance by the pop-singer during one of her Femme Fatale tour stops. Pauly who's deejaying six stops of Britney's concert tours this month was handcuffed to the pole as the blonde singer danced and sang to her song "Lace and Leather".

She even went as far to wrap a bright pink boa around his neck before climbing onto his shoulders, being held up by a back up dancer (of course). I wonder if that's the same boa she used on boyfriend Jason Trawick earlier this month?

Afterwards Pauly D put up this message on his twitter account:

"Wow Just Got A Lap Dance On Stage From @britneySpears!" alongside a photo of his ear-to-ear smile.

Britney followed up by tweeting a message of her own:

"Hope you enjoyed your dance!" Spears Tweeted. The only problem? "[It] Was tough getting my legs around that big blowout," she added.

Some would say he's one lucky fella...not me though cause I'm not that into her.

Britney Spears Pole Dances For Boyfriend On Stage In NY!



Britney Spears sure has gotten more comfortable on stage.

The pop-singer put on a sexy show for her audience in Tuesday night's performance of her Femme Fatale concert. Britney, clad in lace and black fishnets performed an imporptu pole dance with her boyfriend Jason Trawick on stage!

Jason looked pretty awkward as he sat on stage in his lame backwards hat and sports jersey...oh and bright pink boa, ha ha.

“I gotta say it. There’s no crowd like a NY crowd. You guys are incredible. I had the best time. Let’s go NJ! -Brit” Brit Tweeted after her concert last night.

I might be one of the two people in the world to think this but I gotta say it, she's so overrated.

Britney Spears Attends Son's Graduation

Britney Spears may be one of the biggest pop stars around but that doesn't mean she forgets she's a mom first. The 29-year-old pop princess headed to her son Sean's school to watch him graduate on Friday (June 17) in Los Angeles.

Britney was accompanied by boyfriend Jason Trawick, her parents, ex-husband and Sean's dad Kevin Federline and his pregnant girlfriend Victoria Prince.

It's very rare that ex-couples can get together like this but I'm glad they're doing it for the kids. Also, Britney doesn't look very put together but she does look healthy & happy...good for her.

Britney kicked off her Femme Fatale tour this past weekend & from what I hear her performance was fantastic.

Britney Spears kicked off her Femme Fatale concert in Sacramento, CA on Saturday night. Reports are that she rocked the shit out of that stage with tons of wardrobe changes, songs, dancing and the crowd roared all night.

Brit Brit even tweeted a message before the concert with the photo above attached to it:

Kellan Lutz Turns Down Britney Spears...Ouch!

No, she didn't ask him out on a date but he was asked to star as her love interest in the video of her latest single, 'I Wanna Go'.

Pop-singer Britney Spears and 'Twilight' star Kellan Lutz met for the first time last week when he attended her Beverly Hills fundraiser earlier this month.

Unfortunately he had to kindly decline the offer.

Why? Well we're not too clear on that but what is known is that the video is being shot in L.A. sometime this week and is said to feature very little choreography and will show Britney's personality and sense of humor. No word on who got the role after Lutz turned it down.

Spoiler! --> Had Lutz taken the role he would have rescued Britney from a press concert and made out with her in the back of the car, all before ---she realized he was a robot.

Say what?  Weird.

Nicki Minaj Signs On For Britney Spears' Summer Tour!

It first rumored that singer Enrique Iglesias would join pop-singer Britney Spears on tour as her opening act but that was squashed as soon as it was announced. Some say it was his ego that couldn't handle openning for her and he demanded a 'co-tour'...either way, he's out and hip-hop singer Nicki Minaj is in!

Nicki signed the deal a few days ago and "Britney is elated" according to TMZ. Nicki is currently finishing up her tour with Lil Wayne, which ends at the end of the month.

Looks like she'll have a little bit of relaxing time between gigs as Britney's summer tour doesn't kick off until June 17 in Sacramento, CA.

K-Fed's Girlfriend Is Having A Girl!

K-Fed, who's mostly only known as Britney Spears' ex-husband is having a girl with ex-pro vollyballer Victoria Prince. This is the first child for Victoria and the 5th (yes, 5th!) for K-Fed (aka: Kevin Federline).

According to Victoria they will be naming their daughter Jordan. The couple chose the name before knowing the sex of the baby and are sticking with it.

Victoria's exact due date isn't known but she's due in a couple of months.

Britney Spears Wants To Help Stop Bullying

I just have to get this out of the way...how about she does us a favor & gets a hair treatment so we don't have to be tortured every time we look at her mop head.

The 29-year-old pop star has become one of the latest celebrities to join President Obama's new anti-bullying campaign to stop the increasingly growing problem.

Britney is about to release her 7th album 'Femme Fatale' this month but she's focusing a lot of her attention on stopping bullying. She recently tweeted:

"Anti bullying is an issue very close to my heart. I am honored that President Obama & the First Lady asked me to join this campaign.”

Pink Tweets "Look Ma!! No Cuffs!!"

The adorable pixie haired musician Pink tweets quiet often but today she made a slight reference to fellow singer Christina Aguilera being arrested.

I've been a fan of hers for years and out of the three she listed in her tweet she was definitely the one I'd put money on to be the troublemaker but that didn't turn out to be the case. Not that the 31 year old pregnant singer hasn't been without her share of ups and downs.

In early 2008, after much speculation, Pink and motorcross husband Carey Hart announced they were splitting after 2 years of marriage. The two spent time together in late 2008 after Carey Hart's brother passed away and they announced that there 'dating' again in early 2009. The couple never officially divorced and openly announced they were back together in early 2010.

Pink announced she was pregnant with her and Hart's first child on the 'Ellen DeGeneres Show' in November 2010.

Good news is...throughout her hectic life and successful career she has yet to find herself in cuffs ha-ha. I'm happy that she and Carey Hart ended up together!

And oh boy does she need a stylist stat!
