Motocross rider Travis Pastrana proposed to longtime girlfriend, professional skateboarder Lyn-Z Adams Hawkins during a motocross event in Las Vegas on Saturday night.
Travis - dressed in his motocross outfit - interrupted the in house announcer during the show to thank everyone for being there. He then referred to Lyn-Z (original, right?) as "the love of my life" before popping the question on a motorcycle ramp. She of course said yes and as the couple kissed, Elvis's "Can't Help Falling In Love" was played in the arena.
27-year-old Travis told the crowd he had originally planned to propose to 21-year-old Lyn-Z at the end of the show but was too nervous to wait.
"This is a stunt that’s going to last the rest of our lives," he told the crowd.After the show the newly engaged couple celebrated at Las Vegas's Studio 54 (pictured above) where Travis conducted a 100-person champagne toast while giving Lyn-Z a dozen roses.
Alright...it's all a little to cheesy for me. It actually almost gives Kim Kardashian's proposal a run for it's money, although I'm sure Lyn-Z's ring is no where near as large as Kim's. I wish them all the best but she's young so we'll just have to wait and see.
